Note the postcode, street access, passages and any stairs. Measure narrow doors and corridors. Larger products may also need room for a pallet truck or a pallet.

Delivery point and responsibility

Ask where the delivery ends: at the kerb, at the front door or at an agreed spot. Carrying in, unpacking, assembly and installation are separate services and must not be assumed.

Dimensions and weight

Compare the packed dimensions and the total shipping weight with the route to the intended spot. Follow the placement instructions for the exact product.

Confirm the conditions in advance
